Some basic requirements to know prior to the first rental include the following:
 
    Rental Department Hours:
    Weekdays: 9:00am - 6:00pm
    Saturday, Sunday: As Arranged

    Payments:

Rentals will be made only to those firms or individuals with an approved account. It is recommended that an account be opened as far in advance as possible. A deposit of 50% must be posted and collected in advance in cash, check or wire transfer. Delinquent accounts will e charged 1.5% interest per month. The renter shall compensate Filmotechnic International Corp. ( herein described as F.I.C.) for any loss it may sustain as a result of the renter canceling all or part of any order. An appropriated clean up charge will apply to equipment returned in non rentable condition such as salt water sand and other damages.

 

 

 

 

    Liability:
Except for normal wear and tear on rental equipment, the renter assumes all responsibility for damage and/or loss of rental equipment F.I.C. requires all customers to acquire insurance coverage on all equipment rented. The renter is encouraged to inspect and test all equipment at the F.I.C. premises prior to rental of said equipment. The acceptance of return of the rented equipment is not a waiver of clam by F.I.C. that it may have against the renter for latent or patent damage to the equipment. Conditions of rental are stated in the F.I.C. Lease Agreement.

 

 

 
 
    Out of Country Rentals:
                   All rental equipment due to leave United States must be registered with F.I.C. and U.S. Customs prior to departure. F.I.C. will furnish the renter with statement giving serial numbers, country of origin and value upon request. No rental allowance will be made for time lost due to improper documentation, impounding by any government and other transportation or shipping delays.

 

 

                 Equipment supplied by F.I.C. will be operated only by technicians/operators designated by F.I.C.. The restriction applies to all technicians/operators of any rental equipment. F.I.C. reserves the right to deny rental of equipment to unqualified technician/operator.
